Orientation is a requirement for your enrollment at Miami University. The orientation process will provide a solid foundation for your success as a college student. Through orientation, you will build important connections with student leaders, faculty and staff, and the Miami community; learn about your academic curriculum and important resources and opportunities; set goals and join student organizations; and register for fall classes. Registration for orientation becomes available in mid-March 2021 — after you have confirmed your enrollment. Orientation details are available on the Orientation and Transition Programs website.
Your family members are important partners in your success. While we expect you to take the lead in your college experience, family orientation provides an understanding of this new chapter in their relationship with you. During orientation, your family members will learn about requirements, resources, opportunities, and strategies to support your college experience.
